The author has reiterated the significance of research and planning as opposed to intuition and assumptions regarding policies on population density and planning. Realistic and up-to- date demographic estimations and full knowledge of family fabrics are important in population planning and urban design.
Housing options, environmental issues, cultural considerations, indigenous and local values all affect density determinations.
