Chinese. Mongol and Islamic elements in the Miniature Persian Painting, in Mongol Period, are clearly discernible. The lotus pattern, the dragon decorations. the cloud design, the long and carefully-drawn scroll and features are all Chinese, as in the use of line and silver. In addition, the
Chinese influence is predominent within Landscapes, in trees or plants, mountains or water, both in detail and in the use of silver and muted colors. This Article seeks to trace the development of Chinese influences in Persian Painting from beginning to 16th century.
