Abstract

During the past few decades, the quality of architectural education has been improved in many European schools due to the advances in technology and the development of educational methods and educational equipment (i.e., the use of infography and video-graphy in architecture studios). In fact many architects in those countries have adopted these new systems in their professional practices.
Since the number of issues involved in an architectural problem are numerous today, just to mention the complicated issues of man and his environment, the utilization of the new educational equipment could provide a great assistance to the students and designers during the design process. The establishment of spaceio-graphic studios and the use of info-graphy and video-graphy equipment have provided a great opportunity for designers to improve their senses of understanding spaces and imagination.
In this article there has been an attempt made to introduce the use of spaceio-graphic studios and the educational achievements in some European countries. Students in those schools have developed a great sense of self-confidence in their works and there are promising signs of improving architectural educational experiences.
